Seasoned Collard or Mustard Greens Recipe

1 bunch fresh collard or mustard greens
2 cups boiling water
1/2 tsp salt
1 slice bacon, chopped
Fresh ground pepper to taste

Cooking Methods
- Wash the fresh greens thoroughly,
cut the stems away from the leaves and chop stems and leaves into
bite-size pieces.
- Place them into boiling water. Add
salt and bacon and simmer, uncovered over low heat for 30 minutes.
Drain the greens well and sprinkle with pepper to serve.
