Home-made Chicken Nuggets Recipe Low Carb

 

Ingredients

Servings: 4-6

 

Nuggets:

375g boneless chicken fillets, skinned

2 tbsp natural low-fat yoghurt

1/2 cup breadcrumbs, toasted

1 tbsp parmesan cheese

1/2 tsp mixed herbs

 

Sauce:

100g natural low-fat yoghurt

1 tbsp tomato sauce

1 tbsp celery, finely chopped

1 tsp soy sauce

1/4-1/2 tsp minced garlic

Freshly ground black pepper to taste

Cooking Methods

Nuggets:

  1. Cut chicken fillets into large bite-sized pieces then place in a bowl.

  2. Stir in yoghurt to coat chicken pieces evenly.

  3. In a shallow dish combine crumbs, cheese and herbs.

  4. Toss chicken in crumbs until well covered.

  5. Place in a lightly greased baking dish, and bake in a moderately hot oven 190 degrees Celsius for 25 minutes or until lightly browned.

  6. Serve hot with dipping sauce and oven-fried chips.

Sauce:

  1. Combine all ingredients.

  2. Chill for 30 minutes before serving.
