Jill's Crusty Lamb Recipe

Ingredients
Servings: 6-8
1.5 kg leg of lamb
1 egg, beaten
30g margarine, melted
1 1/2 cups soft wholemeal breadcrumbs
1 tbsp sesame seeds
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp marjoram
1 small onion, sliced

Cooking Methods

Brush lamb with beaten egg, then place in a greased
baking dish. Reserve 1 tablespoon beaten egg.

Combine margarine, breadcrumbs, sesame seeds, salt
and marjoram. Mix in remaining egg.

Press mixture over lamb, then press onion rings into
seasoning mixture.

Bake in a moderate oven 180 degrees Celsius for 1 1/2
hours or until meat is cooked. Cover crust with foild when it is crip
to prevent over-browning.

Serve with baked sweet potato, spinach and tomato
saute.
