Apple Sauce Oatmeal Cake Recipe

2 cups unsweetened apple puree
60g margarine
1 cup rolled oats
2 tbsp sugar
2 eggs, beaten
1 tsp vanilla
2 cups plain flour
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp cinnamon

Cooking Methods
- Heat apple and margarine over a low
heat until margarine has melted.
- Stir in rolled oats, then set aside
for 5 minutes.
- Add sugar, eggs and vanilla
alternately with dry ingredients.
- Turn batter into a lightly greased
20cm cake tin.
- Bake in a moderate oven 180 degree
Celsius for 40 minutes or until skewer inserted in centre comes out
clean.
