Here is some good tips about good eateries in Copenhagen:
Cafe Petersborg
————————-
One of my friends read about this trattoria on here and needed to try some standard Danish food, but wanted to circumvent the tourist traps and sky high prices. This was just the thing! We are not a massive fan of fish, but truly wished to try the local cuisine while I was here. I attempted the Petersborg Plate which was spicy or pickled herring (not too bad), Smoked Salmon or Eel, a fried fish, roast meat with potato salad, Ham with Italian salad, Meatball with red cabbage and cheese.
The platter incorporates bread and butter and “homemade fat”–yep, I even attempted that, and noticed that it was not horrible, but I prefer butter. There were other platters and some open-faced sandwiches that are also usually Danish. The trattoria is very enthralling and has plenty of history as well. The staff is very nice and conscientious and the food was wonderfully presented, fairly priced, and, most significantly, tasted good. I might definitely commend it to anyone desiring to truly experience Copenhagen and Danish food.
O’s, Copenhagen
————————–
One of my friends is an America who once lived in Copenhagen and together with him I loved going to O’s. We adored the wait staff there. It was the only place in all of Copenhagen where the wait staff was agreeable! O’s did a fabulous job of making everybody feel secure and I'd always take my visiting guests to O’s for a treat. I'd highly recommend O’s to anyone that wants good service and a good meal.
I suspect the owner’s name was Orlando and he was just about there each time I went on Sun. for brunch and he was really gracious and always went around to each table to ask how everything was. Great restaurant…I see they have moved to a central location. Next time you are in Denmark I can recommend you to visit O’s.
If you're on holiday in Copenhagen and desire some good offers to great eateries in Copenhagen I will advise you to visit the site Kbenhavn spisesteder where you also can find inspiration at det japanske kkken
