½ cup onion, finely chopped
¼ cup fresh basil, chopped

Cooking Methods
- Preheat oven to 375°F / 190°C. Coat a baking sheet with cooking spray.
- Add 1 tbsp olive oil to a small sauté pan over medium heat. Add garlic and sauté for 1 minute.
- In a small bowl, combine garlic mixture with balsamic vinegar, salt (optional), pepper, tomatoes, onion and basil.
Let mixture marinate in refrigerator for 30 minutes.
- Slice whole wheat baguette into 18 pieces. Lightly brush remaining olive oil on each piece. Line baguette pieces on baking sheet
and bake for 10 - 12 minutes or until toasted. Top each baguette piece with equal amounts of tomato mixture.
